LostLink
About the project

Lost items deserve a way back.

LostLink is a campus-focused lost-and-found concept designed to make reporting, discovering, and returning items simpler — without exposing more personal information than necessary.

Our approach

Simple by design. Careful by default.

One campus hub

Keep lost and found posts together in structured listings rather than scattered messages in multiple group chats.

Clear return workflow

Give people a straightforward way to report an item, review relevant posts, and coordinate its return.

Privacy comes first

Keep phone numbers, student IDs, and sensitive identifying details out of public item descriptions. Verify ownership before handover.

Project status: The app requires a configured Supabase project and completed security checks before it can operate as a live shared campus service. Planned features are not presented as guaranteed results, and LostLink cannot independently verify every claim.
How it is intended to work

Find · Verify · Return

  1. Report: submit a lost or found item with useful details.
  2. Discover: browse and search campus reports.
  3. Verify: use details that are not publicly listed to check a claim.
  4. Return: arrange a safe handover, preferably through an official campus point.
